Considering Krieg's split personality - one half being "psycho" and the other being sane - it may lend some interesting perspective about the character and his motivations. Krieg's mind is the central focus of the DLC, however, so while fans may not be able to play as him, they should learn a fair bit more about the character as they work their way through it. It does appear, however, that those characters will be expanded on with new character trees, so there should be a bit more build diversity in the game when those are introduced. While that may come as disappointing news, Gearbox has made clear that it won't be adding DLC characters to Borderlands 3, so fans will need to live with the current options found in the game. That's come in a few different forms, ranging from new stories to limited-time events, but the newest one brings back a familiar face from Borderlands 2. Borderlands 3 is almost a year old, and in the time since launch, it's provided fans with a host of post-launch content and DLC.
